Zeroid is made by Neopharm, a Korean pharmaceutical company, and it is built around one idea that most ceramide creams miss: it is not just whether ceramides are in the formula, it is how they are arranged.
Your skin barrier is not a random mix of oils. It is a layered, crystalline structure — lipids stacked in sheets, like mortar between brick. A standard cream drops ceramides into an ordinary oil-in-water emulsion and hopes for the best. Zeroid's patented MLE (Multi-Lamellar Emulsion) technology instead arranges its lipids into the same layered structure your own barrier uses, so the cream slots in rather than sitting on top.
Doing the work: a pseudoceramide developed to mimic skin's own, plus phytosterols, squalane, shea butter and olive oil for the lipid side, and glycerin and sodium hyaluronate for water. Bisabolol soothes. Defensamide, another Neopharm ingredient, supports the skin's own natural defence proteins.

How to use
Morning and night, as the last step of your routine before sunscreen. Apply to slightly damp skin — a barrier cream works best sealing in water that is already there.
For very dry or irritated patches, apply a second layer on top.
Best for
Dry, dehydrated, sensitive and easily-irritated skin. Skin that stings when you apply things. Tightness, flaking and redness that will not settle.
Particularly worth it if you use actives. Retinoids and exfoliating acids work by pushing the barrier — this is the cream that rebuilds it overnight so you can keep using them. It is also the one to fall back on when you have overdone it and need to stop everything for a week.
The texture is rich. If your skin is oily and congestion-prone, use it on dry areas rather than all over.
