Hydration for skin that already makes plenty of oil.

Oily skin still gets dehydrated — and skin that is stripped and dehydrated often responds by producing more oil, not less. The usual mistake is reaching for something so light it does nothing, then wondering why the shine came back by noon.

This cream is built for that gap: a lightweight, fast-absorbing texture that delivers real hydration while working on sebum at the same time.

The sebum side runs on niacinamide, placed high in the formula, and Zinc PCA — two of the better-evidenced cosmetic ingredients for oil control and the look of enlarged pores. The hydration side runs on glycerin, diglycerin, beta-glucan and panthenol, humectants that hold water without a heavy occlusive film.

Around them sits a botanical blend — terpinen-4-ol (the isolated active from tea tree, without the essential oil itself), manuka leaf, kudzu root, elm root, evening primrose flower and cinchona bark.

No added fragrance and no alcohol in the ingredient list.

Key ingredients

  • Niacinamide — supports sebum regulation, tone and barrier function
  • Zinc PCA — targets excess oil and the appearance of pores
  • Beta-Glucan — humectant with soothing properties
  • Panthenol — hydrates and supports the moisture barrier
  • Terpinen-4-ol — the isolated antimicrobial component of tea tree, without the whole essential oil
  • Adenosine — Korean MFDS-recognized functional wrinkle ingredient

How to use

Morning and night, as the last step of your skincare routine before sunscreen. Warm a small amount between your fingertips and press it over the face — pressing rather than rubbing helps a lightweight cream absorb without pilling over serums.

If your skin is oily in the T-zone but normal elsewhere, apply a thin layer all over and a second pass only where you get shine.

In the morning, always follow with sunscreen.

Best for

Oily and combination skin. Congested or visible pores. Skin that feels tight and greasy at the same time — the dehydrated-oily combination. Also a good lightweight option for normal skin in humid weather.

Probably not for you if your skin is genuinely dry or you want a rich occlusive night cream. This is deliberately light.

Before you start

  • Patch test on the jawline for 24 hours before first full use. This formula contains several botanical extracts, and plant extracts are among the more common sources of contact sensitivity.
  • If you have a known allergy to tea tree, note that this contains terpinen-4-ol, an isolated component of it — gentler than the whole oil, but worth knowing.
  • Oil control is management, not a cure. Sebum output is largely driven by genetics and hormones. Expect less midday shine and a smoother finish, not a permanent change in skin type.
  • External use only. Avoid the immediate eye area. Keep out of reach of children.
  • Discontinue and consult a physician if irritation persists.
