Ji Woo Gae means "eraser" in Korean, and that is the brief: sweep, lift, reset. Each of the 60 double-textured pads is soaked in a base led by Houttuynia cordata (heartleaf) extract — the ingredient the entire Celimax line is built around, long used in Korean formulation for congested, easily-inflamed skin.

The exfoliant is betaine salicylate, a BHA that works oil-soluble, meaning it gets into the pore lining rather than only lifting cells off the surface. Alongside it sit the four isolated Centella actives — madecassoside, asiaticoside, madecassic acid and asiatic acid — plus hinoki cypress water, green tea leaf water and sea water to keep the formula from feeling stripping.

Textured mesh side to exfoliate, flat side to press the essence in. Alcohol-free.

How to use

After cleansing, sweep the mesh side across the T-zone and any congested areas, avoiding the eye area. Flip and press the smooth side over the rest of the face.

Start with 2–3 times a week and increase only if your skin stays comfortable. Wear sunscreen every morning.

Best for

Oily and combination skin. Visible pores, blackheads and breakout-prone congestion. Give it 4–8 weeks.

Good to know

• Contains tea tree essential oil and declares limonene. Not suitable for reactive or fragrance-sensitive skin — patch test on the jaw before first use.
• Do not use on the same night as a retinoid or another exfoliating acid — alternate instead.
• Close the lid firmly so the pads do not dry out.
• Avoid the eye area. External use only.
