Washing your face is the step most likely to undo the rest of your routine. Harsh surfactants strip the lipids your barrier is built from, and everything you apply afterward spends its time replacing what the cleanser removed.
This one is built on amino-acid and amphoteric surfactants — potassium cocoyl glycinate, disodium cocoamphodiacetate, sodium cocoyl alaninate, coco-glucoside and sodium cocoyl isethionate. No sulfates. It whips into fine micro-bubbles and rinses completely without the tight, squeaky finish.
What sets it apart is what iUNIK put behind the cleansing base: ceramide NP, phytosterols, phosphatidylcholine, hyaluronic acid, polyglutamic acid and eight amino acids — glycine, glutamic acid, serine, alanine, lysine, arginine, proline and threonine. These are components your skin barrier is actually made of, and most cleansers skip them entirely on the logic that it all washes away.

How to use
Dispense a small amount into damp hands, work into a lather, and massage over a wet face for 30–60 seconds. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.
Use morning and night. As the second step of a double cleanse, use an oil cleanser first — in the morning, this alone is enough.
Best for
All skin types, including sensitive and easily-irritated. Particularly worth it if your skin feels tight after washing, or if you use retinoids or exfoliating acids and need a cleanser that will not add to the load.
